Research Proposal Writing Training Program

The University of the Philippines is mandated by law to “lead as a public service university” through the provision of various public service initiatives. In this regard, faculty members of the University of the Philippines System have always been expected to engage in projects and activities which will enable them to take the lead in public and volunteer service in the country, aside from excelling in teaching and research. One such public service initiative takes the form of a capacity building, professional development program for government employees. This aims to ensure that sectors involved in public service are grounded to both the theoretical and practical discourses that will guide them in effectively fulfilling their mandate. In this training program, the focus is on enhancing the technical writing skills of the Department of Agriculture Region IV-A employees who are expected to write research proposals that will benefit the people and will significantly improve the agriculture sector.
