Master of Arts in COMMUNICATION ARTS

The Master of Arts in Communication Arts (MACA) program aims to equip graduate students with the theoretical and critical grounding in the field of communication arts and its application to the areas of speech communication, literary and cultural studies, creative writing, language and linguistics, and writing for various publics. Through the offering of courses taught by experts in the field, students are honed to become expert communicators so that they can promote honor and excellence as educators, writers, information officers, and other communication practitioners.

The courses under the MACA program will train students with a strong generalist orientation balanced with advance training in the various forms and styles or oral and written communication.

The MACA program is offered by the Department of Humanities and is housed under the UPLB Graduate School, along with other MA and PhD programs in UPLB.
